Our Legal Team

Attorney Leslie Muse joins Parton Law with more than 25 years of experience handling all aspects of complex civil litigation, including successful first-chair trial experience.  She spent the past 15 years working with a law firm in Tennessee.

Attorney Muse completed her undergraduate degree in English, with an emphasis in writing, and her law degree at the University of Tennessee, and holds a Master of Public Health degree from UNC Chapel Hill.

In addition to her North Carolina and Tennessee bar licensures and memberships, she is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed general/ civil mediator, and a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.   She strives to incorporate the philosophies underlying mediation into her everyday practice, seeking to build rapport with all parties and participants when possible, and looking for creative solutions to client issues beyond the parameters of remedies available at law.

Ms. Muse is now an active member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and Women Lawyers of Charlotte. She is a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation, and previously served two terms on the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization, a position to which she was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Ms. Muse is an avid reader, loves to travel, and spends as much time as possible with her college-aged/ adult children.
