Our Legal Team

Attorney Johnny Payne joined Parton Law in February 2025.

Mr. Payne grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he studied business economics at the University of South Florida. He attended Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2021 and began practicing law in Raleigh, N.C.

During law school, Mr. Payne was a member of the Mock Trial team and won an outstanding advocacy award. He also worked in his law school’s Low Income Tax Clinic helping clients with federal tax issues.

Attorney Payne brings experience to Parton Law in several practice areas, which have given him a robust understanding of the civil litigation process. His deep desire to see fairness implemented and disputes resolved drives him to work hard for clients and be thoughtful about the issues involved in cases.

In his free time, Attorney Payne enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife.
